Alameda Power & Telecom's Clean Future Fund gives you a choice in the way we will make future investments in generation sources. Currently, 85% of Alameda Power & Telecom's energy comes from renewable resources. Unlike green power programs offered by other utilities and energy service providers, Alameda Power & Telecom customers do not pay more on their bills to get this renewable power.

While our power is 85% renewable, we want to offer our customers a choice of future green power products. Your choice will make a difference in the way Alameda Power & Telecom invests in the future. Your voluntary contributions to the Clean Future Fund offer you a chance to participate in new clean power programs.

For an additional penny per kilowatthour, or about $3.75 a month for the typical household, you can invest in the Clean Future Fund. Fully 100% of the contributions go to fund new, not existing resources.
