MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING
CITY OF ALAMEDA PUBLIC UTILITIES BOARD

Monday, October 16, 2006

1. ROLL CALL

   President McCormick called the meeting to order at 6:33 P.M. On roll call, the following Commissioners were present: Bangert, Holmes, McCahan. and City Manager Kurita.

2. PUBLIC COMMENT (AGENDA ITEMS ONLY)

   None.

3. ADJOURNMENT TO CLOSED SESSION TO:
   1. PUBLIC EMPLOYEE APPOINTMENT (54957)

      Title: General Manager, Alameda Power & Telecom

4. ANNOUNCEMENT OF ACTION TAKEN IN CLOSED SESSION, IF ANY
   1. President McCormick announced the formation of an ad hoc subcommittee including Commissioners Bangert and McCahan to review and assist the City Manager in a recruitment process. No other action was taken.
5. ADJOURNMENT

   The meeting was adjourned at 7:00 P.M.
