MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING
CITY OF ALAMEDA PUBLIC UTILITIES BOARD

Friday, October 20, 2006

1. ROLL CALL

   Vice President Bangert called the meeting to order at 3:00 P.M. On roll call, the following Commissioners were present:  Holmes, McCahan, and City Manager Kurita. President McCormick attended via teleconference.

2. PUBLIC COMMENT (AGENDA ITEMS ONLY)

   None.

3. ADJOURNMENT TO CLOSED SESSION TO:
   1. CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATOR (54957.6)

      Agency Negotiator: Craig Jory
      Employee Organizations: International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers

4. ANNOUNCEMENT OF ACTION TAKEN IN CLOSED SESSION, IF ANY
   1. The Agency Negotiator briefed the Board on the status of negotiations with the three bargaining units. No action was taken.
   
   
5. ADJOURNMENT

   The meeting was adjourned at 3:35 P.M.
