What is DOCSIS 2.0?
DOCSIS (Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification) defines interface
requirements for cable modems involved in high-speed data distribution
over cable television system networks. The 2.0 specification is the
newest specification.
Who is CableLabs?
Founded in 1988 by members of the cable television industry, Cable Television Laboratories, Inc. (CableLabs®)
is a non-profit research and development consortium. CableLabs does not market
or sell cable modems; they only certify modems that meet the interoperability
