The ads on TV guide are so distracting that they subvert the purpose of the station. I would like more accuracy in the listings and more insightful descriptions of the programming. I had better TV guide programs fifteen years ago. This is depressingly inadequate. Thanks for listening. |

This online guide is a handy reference if you want to know what's supposed to be on for the next hour or so, and forgot to extricate the TV listings from your latest edition of the Alameda Journal, but it isn't always correct (neither is the Journal). Furthermore, the upper section of the screen blaring show promotions and commercials at an amplified volume is truly obnoxious, and was recently expanded in a format change, while the amount of space devoted to listings shrank. Following a weekend crash, the station is back up without sound, and I love it - saves me the trouble of turning it down or trying to read the listings around the "mute" tag. Can we keep it silent - please??! |
