The new Battlestar Galactica is possibly the best sci-fi series ever on TV. It's surprisingly complex and explores issues facing the world today. Terrorism. Religious extremism. Military solutions vs diplomacy. What does it mean to be "human". There are no aliens. There are robots. George Lucas and Steven Spielberg could take lessons from the "grown-upness" and intelligence of this program.
