What's It All About?

Yet another crime procedural. But this one also provides a little Moonlighting spin to it. Relationship challenged Emily Deschanel has to work with sensitive guy David Boreanaz (Angel).

Emily Deschanel

Emily Deschanel, this woman has a two face, and I don't know why! Sometimes she looks hot, and other times her face looks like skeletor from He-man. I can't figure out why thought, threw some research I found that they actually hired a whole new DP for the second season. So that might be it.....Her sister Zooey is way hotter anyways. I have watched this show, and its not bad....Sometimes it can get a little corny, but its entertaining.

the new Scully and Mulder
Reviewer: Sara Bellam from Alameda, CA on 05/03/06
Only better. David Boreanaz plays an FBI agent, likeable, adult, fully-dimensioned. Nothing I saw him do in 7 years as Angel prepared me for the acting ability he demonstrates in this series. His partner, a brilliant forensic scientist at "The Jeffersonian Institute" (or Smithsonian, if you read the closed captions...) is a brainy beauty who is unapologetically rational, sometimes to the point of insensitivity, but so naive about social interaction, and so open to criticismn and self-improvement that you can never hold it against her. She also a charmingly uncharacteristic yen to play Action Agent at the most inopportune moments. The supporting cast of science assistants, a forensic artist and the complex boss add a wonderful array of relationships and fascinating procedural detail, though the show manages to avoid the in-your-face gore of some procedurals, much to my relief. The chemistry between the two lead charcters is marvelous, like the best early days of Mulder and Scully, playful, warm, real, and with a deep bond clearly growing. The dialogue is great, and the plots are not bad - I have no particular interest in forensics, but they manage to make it as attractive as a Nova special. Best thing to come out of Fox in longer than they care to admit. Try it, you'll like it!

I love this show

An FBI agent and a forensic pathologist work together to solve crimes. Strange crimes with a lot of twists. They are very different but both want justice.

An interesting show and you actually learn something... Visually awesome when viewed in HD.

How Many Roads...
Reviewer: An Anonymous Reviewer from Alameda, CA on 09/19/05
How many roads must a man watch CSI knockoffs before they call it a mess? I vote for this to be the end of the trend. It's up to the networks and ratings to supply the actual answer.
