Deposits for Commercial Electric Service
Alameda Power & Telecom requires each applicant for commercial electric service
to complete a standard Application for Service, sign a Service Agreement, and pay a deposit.
All deposits are equal to two months average service.
Customers who have previously had an Alameda Power & Telecom commercial
account with good credit may not be required to pay a deposit. However, customers
whose power has been disconnected for nonpayment are required to pay a deposit before power is restored.
