Understanding Your Telecom Bill

Take a brief walking tour of your telecom bill.

There are six convenient ways of paying your telecom bill:

Automatic Bill Payment Plan

Pay your telecom bill directly through a recurring credit card payment. Sign up and each month your bill amount is electronically transferred. If you are already an Alameda Power & Telecom Cable TV customer and would like to enroll in our Automatic Bill Payment Plan, please call 510-748-3900.

Electronic Bill Payments Through Your Bank

Many banks and other financial institutions offer online bill-paying tools. Instead of writing checks and buying stamps, you can pay virtually anyone, anytime, anywhere you have Internet access.

You may still get a paper bill, but make your payment online.

Each institution has differing procedures, so contact your bank for details on this option.

U.S. Mail

Receive your bill the traditional way - by mail. Mail back your payment in the self addressed envelope. (If you've lost the envelope, our mailing address is 2000 Grand Street, Alameda, CA 94501.)

Our Office

Make a payment in person, or leave it in our drop box at Alameda Power & Telecom Service Center, located at 2000 Grand Street in Alameda. (Get a map and directions to our offices.) We accept Visa, Mastercard, money order, cash, ATM cards or checks. (Checks are subject to verification of funds).

When paying in person, please bring your entire bill. Payments received after 3:00 p.m. will be processed on the following business day.

Pay Stations

For your convenience we also have three pay stations in Alameda that can accept your telecom bill payment:

Mail Boxes Plus 2532 Santa Clara Avenue
(between Park St. and Broadway)
The UPS Store
(formerly Mail Boxes Etc.)
875 Island Drive
(in the Harbor Bay Landing Shopping Center)
Webster Pharmacy 1553 Webster Street
(at Lincoln Ave.)

When paying in person, please bring your entire bill. Payments received after 3:00 p.m. will be processed on the following business day.

Cashiers at these pay stations do not have access to customer account information. Should you have a question about your bill, please call our Customer Service Representative on 748-3900.

You may also pay in person at the Alameda Power & Telecom Service Center at 2000 Grand Street (at Clement Avenue).

Phone

Pay your bill over the phone with a Visa or Mastercard credit card.
