Applicability
This schedule is applicable to telephone, T-1 voice and T-1 data service provided at Alameda Point to commercial and residential customers, where usable telephone cable lines exist. T-1 data service is available to commercial customers only.

Definitions and Special Conditions
- T-1 CIRCUIT
The combination of twisted pairs and terminal equipment required to deliver a digital signal at 1.544 Mbps (million bits per second) from point to point.
- TWISTED PAIR
A pair of wires used to carry telephony signals from one point to another.
- MONTHLY FEE
Applicable to all services, this fee covers the cost of service including the repair and normal maintenance of line and equipment provided by Alameda P&T.
- MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
The customer’s computer must be capable of utilizing high-speed cable Internet service and must have a compatible network interface card (NIC) installed. In addition, the following minimum system requirements must be met in order to establish a cable Internet service connection:

- DISCOUNTS AND PROMOTIONS
At the direction of the General Manager and subject to summary reporting to the Public Utilities Board, Alameda P&T may utilize discounts and/or promotions to enhance customer acquisition strategies. These promotions may include the waiver of charges, offers for free service for a limited period of time, and other tactics that it deems appropriate.
- RULES and REGULATIONS
Other conditions, as specified in Alameda P&T's Rules and Regulations, shall apply to this rate schedule.
