Public, Educational and Government Access Fee

Purpose

Section 10.6 of Alameda Power & Telecom's (Alameda P&T's) Cable Communications Franchise Agreement (City of Alameda Ordinance Number 2806) requires it to remit payment to the City of Alameda's Public, Educational, and Government (PEG) Access Fund. This fund is used to provide services, facilities, equipment, and support for cable communications access for public, educational, and government use.

Applicability

This fee will be applied to the bills for cable television services as directed by the Franchise Authority for all Alameda P&T's customers except government entities.
