Large General Service - Demand-Metered
Applicability
This schedule is applicable to customers with polyphase alternating current service whose demand is equal to or exceeds
4000 kW for any six months out of the last 12 consecutive months. Service must be taken at 12 kilo-volt (kV) primary voltage,
the same voltage as the distribution system from which service is supplied.
Only one rate schedule change is allowed every 12 months except by mutual agreement between the Customer and
Alameda Power & Telecom (Alameda P&T).

State and Local Taxes
To the above charges will be added any applicable state and local taxes
(refer to Rider UUT and Rider ERS
for current tax rate).
Definitions and Special Conditions
- METERED DEMAND
The Metered Demand in any month is the maximum average power taken per meter during any
15-minute interval in the month, provided that, in cases where the use of energy is
intermittent or subject to violent fluctuations, a 5-minute interval may be used.
- DISTRIBUTION CHARGE
The charge for low voltage delivery of electric power at the local level, including billing
and metering costs.
- PUBLIC PURPOSE CHARGE
The California state-mandated charge supporting funding of energy efficiency, new renewable
resources, low-income, and research and development programs.
- GENERATION CHARGE
Charge recovering the cost of providing energy supply including generation and transmission
costs.
- PRIMARY VOLTAGE DISCOUNT
No applicable.
- POWER FACTOR
Charges for any month as computed above will be adjusted for the power factor according to
Rider PF.
- RULES and REGULATIONS
Other conditions, as specified in Alameda P&T's
Rules and Regulations, shall apply to this electric
rate schedule.
