THERE'S MORE TO YOUR CABLE TV CHANNEL LINEUP
On July 18, Alameda Power & Telecom added 14 new channels to its cable
television channel line-up. As a result, subscribers may find that some of
their favorite channels have new homes on the dial in order to accommodate
the expansion. The new channel additions will bring even more variety and
value to their packages.

Highlighting the Changes
- Four new channels have been added to Digital Basic: NFL Network, ESPNU, BYU Television, and the Hallmark Movie Channel.
- Starz!/Encore subscribers will see three new channels at no additional cost. Encore WAM, Starz! Comedy, and Starz! Kids
and Family. The Starz!/Encore premium package will now have 20 channels.
- Local networks are launching digital and high-definition (HD) channels.
- Subscribers will have access to 24-hour local weather on KNTV's new digital weather channel.
- Expanded Cable customers will find sports channels grouped together.
The ESPN family will start at channel 33, followed by FSN Bay Area and new additions the Golf Channel and Outdoor Life.
- In the coming months, viewers can look forward to ESPN2 HD and Discovery HD Theater.
- TV5, a French language channel, is being added to the International Premium Channels.
TV5 will be available for $9.99 per month.
Premium International Channels require a digital converter box to receive the signal and additional fees may apply.
