ROLLING OUT THE BARREL

ALAMEDA, Calif., January 1, 2005 — Alameda Power & Telecom has "rolled out the barrel" to assist the Alameda Emergency Food Bank. A food collection barrel is now in the lobby of our Service Center, 2000 Grand Street, at Clement Avenue.

Contributions of nonperishable food times in unopened containers may be dropped off Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Alameda Emergency Food Bank offers these groceries to low-income residents of Alameda.

And while you're here, you can also surf AlamedaNET, the best high-speed Internet service anywhere, and check out some of the high-value features of Alameda P&T cable television service! You can also sign up for service or pay your bills.

For more information on food collection, please call the Alameda Emergency Food Bank on 523-5850.
