upgrading our customer information
systems.
Alameda Power & Telecom's
new "eCare" system, available
within the next few months, offers you
features such as around-the-clock
availability of account information,
access to up to 18 months
of usage history, the ability to
compare your usage with similar
types of customers, and a single
login screen for electric, cable
television, and Internet services.
Because you'll have access
to the same information as our
Customer Service Representatives,
you can look forward to even
faster service. Our billing costs
will be reduced, helping us keep
control over rates. We're looking
forward to offering even more
billing and payment options, and
eCare will pave the way for future
services.
In order to complete our
eCare installation, we need to ask
for the patience of our customers
who already pay cable television
and AlamedaNET bills by credit
card via the alamedapt.com
web site, as this service will be
unavailable from September 24
until March. Later, as the
installation progresses, we will ask
all customers who already have
selected personal identification
numbers (PINs) to please call us,
so that we may issue a new PIN
that will allow you complete
access to the eCare system and all
its features and conveniences.
