ALAMEDA P&T TO HOST TELECOMMUNICATIONS WORKSHOPS

ALAMEDA, Calif., January 9, 2007 - Alameda Power & Telecom will host two public workshops to address interest in the operational aspects of its telecommunications business line.

The meetings are intended to provide an overview of measures recently implemented or to be adopted in the near future to move the enterprise toward overall profitability.

The first meeting will be held on Thursday evening, January 18, at the Albert H. DeWitt Officers‚ Club, 641 West Redline Road in Alameda Point, beginning at 7:15 p.m.

The second meeting will be held on Saturday afternoon, January 20, at the Alameda Power & Telecom Service Center, 2000 Grand Street (at Clement Avenue) beginning at 3:00 p.m.

CCG Consulting L.L.C., recently retained to provide an analysis of telecommunications operations, will present its recommendations and answer related questions.
