NBC TO BE ON CHANNEL 3 IN ALAMEDA

ALAMEDA, Calif., Dec. 20, 2001 - Effective January 1, 2002, NBC's Bay Area affiliate television station will be switched to San Jose-based television station KNTV, which airs on Channel 3 of Alameda Power & Telecom's cable service.

KRON - the outgoing NBC affiliate television station - will continue to air as an independent channel on Channel 4 of Alameda's city-owned cable system.
