ALAMEDA POWER & TELECOM PRESENTS THE MONSTER ISLAND THEATER HOLIDAY SPECIAL

ALAMEDA, Calif., December 4, 2003 - It's the holiday season and that means holiday shows on TV. Alameda Power & Telecom has placed its own entry into the television mix with an original production on Public Access Channel 31.

Premiering on December 18th at 7 pm, with ongoing showings throughout that night and over the following five days, you'll have the opportunity to catch the "Monster Island Theater Holiday Special."

Yes, you're not "reading things:" this show is hosted by Vicki Vampyr, Alameda's Ghouly Girl of the Midnight Hour. If you caught Alameda TV's Halloween Eve program, you'll know who she is. If not, this is your chance to get acquainted the Channel 31's first homegrown celebrity.

The program will celebrate this special time of year with seasonal songs, vintage cartoons, culinary thoughts and a 30 Second Charles Dickens' Christmas Carol. There will also be wonderful guests - Kelly Park, Reid Whatleya, and straight from the North Pole of Alameda - Alfie McElfie.

So gather the kiddies, light the festive candles, turn on the TV, grab a candy cane and tune into Channel 31 on December 18th. You can check the Channel 31 schedule on the Alameda TV website (www.alamedatv.org) for additional showings.
