ALAMEDA P&T ADDS FSN BAY AREA TO ITS HD LINEUP

ALAMEDA, Calif., March 31, 2005 - Now, there's even more high-definition programming available on the Alameda Power & Telecom system. Our community's municipal cable television system has announced that FSN Bay Area has joined its already extensive HDTV lineup.

The addition brings the total number of high-definition channels to 14, including additional sports programming from ESPN; cultural and educational programming from KQED; many local broadcasters, such as KBWB, KGO, KICU, KNTV, and KTVU; and a number of movie and premium services.

The first high-definition pitch for the 2005 baseball season will be carried on FSN Bay Area when the San Francisco Giants open their season on April 5 against the Los Angeles Dodgers. FSN Bay Area will be in Oakland for the Athletics home season opener on April 11 when the Toronto Blue Jays fly into town. In total, FNS will broadcast 111 baseball games in HDTV.

FSN Bay Area in high definition is carried on Alameda P&T Channel 129. Other FSN Bay Area telecasts are carried on Alameda P&T Channel 83.

For more information, customers should call (510) 748-3900.

Alameda P&T is committed to high definition programming, becoming the first provider in Alameda to launch the service. The addition of FSN Bay Area is part of Alameda P&T's continual expansion of its broad range of digital and high-definition offerings, and similar arrangements with other broadcasters are anticipated. There are now over 260 channels available on the Alameda P&T system.
