MORE CHOICES ON THE ALAMEDA P&T CABLE SYSTEM

ALAMEDA, Calif., July 11, 2005 - Alameda Power & Telecom is pleased to announce that, beginning Monday, July 18, customers will have another 14 cable television channels from which to choose.

It is the third time this year that the municipal system has added programming to its line-up, and there are now well over 270 channels available on the Alameda P&T system.

The additions bring even more variety and value to currently available programming and packages. In order to accommodate this broader selection, however, some minor revisions to the channel line-up are necessary. As a result, some favorite channels may have new homes. Alameda P&T also has taken this opportunity to update guides with recently implemented channel name changes.

The new channels include:

• Additional sports programming over the NFL Network and ESPNU
• Three new high-definition (HD) channels, FSN Bay Area HD, ESPN2 HD, and Discovery HD Theater
• Another new international channel, TV-5 French
• Three new premium channels, Encore WAM, Starz! Comedy, and Starz! Kids & Family
• And more general interest programming, such as the Hallmark Movie Channel, Home Shopping Network, Fit TV, C-Span 3, and BYU TV.

Alameda P&T appreciates the patience of its customers during the transition, and a new channel card has been mailed to assist subscribers. A downloadable version, as well as both numerical and alphabetical listings, are available on the this website.
