Dawna Dowdell has been one of the most active and productive participants in the American Cancer Society Relay for Life and events raising funds for breast cancer research.

An eager volunteer with the Alameda Police Department, she applies her talents to various Alameda events including the Park Street Art & Wine Faire. As a member of the Junior Chamber of Commerce and Alameda Kiwanis, she has helped recognize homeowners and entertain seniors by working on the Holiday Lighting Contest.

Any community effort that relies on volunteers knows it can count on Dawna.
