Firefighter/EMT Award

Mike D'Orazi:

In his 28 year career with the Alameda Fire Department, Fire Captain and Training Director Mike D'Orazi has been a mentor to countless firefighters and an inspiration to all who have worked with him. He serves as President of the Alameda Firefighters Association and was nominated by their Executive Board for his service, integrity, and unprecedented dedication to the community, the department, and their association. In his nomination, he was described as the epitome of what a firefighter should be.
